LONG EYELASH EXTENSION TREND! ANYONE?

  I have medium to long eyelashes and i have always admired long eyelashes ever since i saw my hairy friend from childhood “wamboi” Gossshhh she had a lot a loot of hair. The Girl with the big hair, Big nails and big Lashes got it all. So i recently discovered that my salonist did eyelash extensions and decided to try. God was i happy!!! It was a decent fee, Ksh. 800 which covered the cost of the eyelashes(Ksh. 300) and Ksh. 500 was for the cost of labor. For 800 bob you could stay with the lashes for one month if your extra careful and for Ksh. 3000 you could stay with lashes for 3 months…. My safes bet was the Ksh. 800 ones just in case they don’t please me i can take them off.

So, i got did and done GIRRRL!! lol 🙂

#FreakingBangingHot… Then my salonist said stay out of heat,oil,water and no saunas for you!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO WTFudge! He said that until it fully dries. I couldn’t go for my pleasures, only on a minimal (twice a month *sad face* ) to enhance there durability….MMMbut it was worth it…#FreakingBangingHot i mean.. 🙂

I got lots of compliments and guys wanted to know my salonist.. Daym! The comment that always made my day was “Hey, OMG are those your real lashes”… and i would go with the white lie..”Yes, but of cos :)”

So 3 weeks down the line they began to prick my eye, my natural lashes started falling into my eye and they began to fall off, good thing i had fixing glue that i used to repair the falling/loos lashes before they fell off.. So eventually i got tired of them and i felt that it was time to remove them.

OOOOOOOMFreakingG!!!! MY NATURAL LASHES WERE WEAK AND FEWER!… I REALLY hated that however i wanted to put other lashes.. what to do … so i came up with a regimen plan on how to protect my lashes and they are improving. I only us lashes if nessesary like weddings, dates and partys, job interviews (you have to charm your way at time ). Also i try to use the shorter lashes from 8mm (yes this are my real lashes daahhhh!) ,   9mm(pleasure length) or 10mm(the length is a struggle #That’sWhatSheSaid lol)  longer than that i will look like

a clownor look fake or worse look like a whore or ratchet  (no offense)   and i can’t maintain long lashes (10mm is a bother for me what about the 12mm…hmmmm #NOTHANKYOU) them well enough (maintain them in terms of sleeping, putting and removing make up and washing my face). So i would deny myself long lashes and take care of them. I would wash them day and night along with my face, reduce on make-up so as i don’t to clog them and lastly swab them with natural virgin olive oil every single day. This has worked for me and am able to grow out my  lashes even after adding eyelash extensions.

WOULD YOU GO ALL THE WAY AND PUT ON EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT. IS IT SAFE?

The minute I heard about this I wanted to try… you see am not blessed with straight hair **sniff sniff and all the girls with this look looked so flawless. The minute I heard straight hair that would last for days and months as though a blow out or relaxer I wanted it.

So I turned to my nearest salon and asked if they could do it. They said that they can get the stuff shipping by next week… because none of the women around Nairobi are familiar with it. It got me thinking …the way Nairobi women love beauty why am I not hearing much about it in Nairobi? …so I went home to research more..this time on the negative not the positive were the client is smiling from ear to ear ..
So I came across this video.

To my opinion I would do it just once in my life and pass it off in my bucket list before I die …I mean you only live once right … but as a routine, its a no for me. If it was popular in kenya many would fall ill because of how much us Nairobi women love beauty. They say that beauty is pain but is this worth it? Let me know. Love yourself and do your research …beauty is brains :).

DIY HAIR REMOVAL WAX

WAXing has always been on my bucket list but it looks quite painful. So I did my research on sugaring and how painless they say it.. simply because my shaving cream got finished and I was too lazy to head to the supermarket … #living in the surbardz nkt! ..
So I made some both the hard wax and the soft wax and I found them quite painless #lies lol…but ones I started I couldn’t stop it became addictive ..painfully addictive … you see where this is going… I have to admit that my arms and legs feels great.
When it comes to waxing you should prepare your skin it should be exfoliated like 2 or 3 days to the waxing day and before waxing wash the desire area and swab it with some surgical spirt. See this video on the pre and post of waxing.

There are two types of waxes he hard wax and the soft wax they boy depend in he consistency. People have different ways of making these waxes like water, sugar, lemon juice, apple cider, salt and heat but most of them revolve around sugar, water and lemon juice.

Fashion is an act of confidence and belief with yhr help for me the teacher “kujichocha nayo :)” I will make testy my little grasshopper to flaunt the look like a pro.
Ropes and some woven clothings are now in fashion as seen from runways to street fashion as well ss the strewth style. It is a huge statement once you wear it right.

Lets begin.
You can were it as full dress although it might be heavy depending on the material.

A short dress with abstract rope design. This is doesn’t need a lot of accessories because of the design.

You could have ropes on the shoulders.

How about on the back of a dress or top? To die for.

You could try matching the ropes design with the colour of your dress.. try different finishing like matte or glossy looks.

NECK CANDY? ; ITS A DIY RIBBON NECKLACE.

There’s a time that us women like getting creative.. at times too creative, mixing and fixing up stuff to make up ornaments. We all have one of those days and I have a fab DIY NECKLACE for all my CANDY LOVERS. You just need some ribbons, a lighter or candle and small circular thin wires (jump ring) . Ribbons are like 100 Bob an arms length or cheaper depending on where your buying, a lighter is 80 bob or less than the wires you can find them in town.. you can email me where and how much they are if you want to know..

Every pimple/has a meaning? wt*!

I recently saw this video and it was shocking … I didn’t know that every pimple positioned on my face gave a story of my organs in the body …. well I know that too much oil and fats can hive someone pimples but not in this sense . Women love smooth skin as well as eating tasty treats.. well most women :).. the ice creams, sugar treats, tender meat, wine,… your getting my point. After seeing this video I have to thing before taking a glass of wine with a platter of cheese and chocolate or having a glass of orange juice (something less toxic).
